Captivated by the region and the Rota Vicentina, Marnie and Ray know each nook and cranny of the trail in the Alentejo and endeavour to give all the support that is necessary for a stress-free walking holiday.Having lived in Portugal since 2006, they recently founded Ramblin’tejano, a touristic recreational activities business specialising in supporting walkers, who wish to come to the south west of Portugal to walk the Rota Vicentina independently.
Their mission is to ensure that walkers enjoy a peaceful vacation, offering support in choosing accommodation, transfers, moving luggage between accommodations and in the event of any unforeseen circumstances there is a mobile phone support line and a 7 seater 4×4 vehicle always available. The various programmes on offer can be booked through partner travel agencies in The Netherlands, Scandinavia, Bulgaria and the United Kingdom, but if you want something different and tailor-made or help with one or two days of exploring during your stay in the region, Marnie and Ray are ready to help.
